Journey To Baikal
Day 1
- Arrival in Irkutsk. Lunch.
- *City tour "Churches and Monuments of Irkutsk", 4 hours (the square of three churches: Epiphany cathedral, the Church of the Savoir, Polish Cathedral; the monument to Alexander III, 130th Quarter).
Irkutsk is the nearest to Lake Baikal big city. It is worth spending time in Irkutsk, walking along the Angara embankment, admiring ancient churches, monuments, and unique wooden architecture of the city. Visit to Museum (on choice Decembrist museum, Local Lore Museum, Art Museum).

Day 2

*Excursion to Listvyanka, 8 hours.
Visit to the ethnographical museum of wooden architecture "Taltsy", where you will see a lot of ancient wooden houses, real Buryat and Evenk yurt. Baikal museum visit where you will get to know about Lake, Baikal flora and fauna, meet Baikal seals in aquarium and make an interactive diving tour to the Baikal bottom. Getting up by the chair lift to the observation platform Chersky Stone, where you can enjoy panoramic view on the Lake. Walking along the Baikal shore; ancient wooden Saint Nicolas Church visit; fish and souvenir market visit.

- Overnight in Irkutsk.

- Transfer to airport/railway station.

A whole day trip along Circum-Baikal Railway.
*Famous Circum Baikal railroad is considered a cultural and historic heritage site including 38 tunnels with the overall length of 9063 m. The tunnels and stone passages are unique, they were built upon unconventional projects and were not reconstructed later, thus they have kept the original design of the architects and engineers who worked in early 20th century.- Lunch in the train coach Overnight in Irkutsk.
